How Do I Find A Whey Protein That Has No Hidden Sugars?

October 23, 2009 at 4:52 am

I am currently taking Dymatize Nutrition’s Elite Whey Protein Isolate. It claims to have only 2.5 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of sugar however, I tend to use it at a sweetener because it is so sweet. I don’t know for sure how they are hiding the fact that it has way more sugar than it claims. The only thing I can figure is that when the ingredients say “concentrate..natural and artificial flavors” they mean concentrated in natural and artificial sugars. I have tried several whey proteins and they are all the same: overly sweet, so how do I find a whey protein (targeted for women) that have no hidden sugars?

How can I make those whey protein powders portable to drink on my way home from practice?
Just wondering,
Since it takes me 45 minutes or so to get home from track practice, should I mix it with some water and put it in a water bottle for portability or what?
Thanks to those who answered my previous question!
