How Do I Find A Whey Protein That Has No Hidden Sugars?

I am currently taking Dymatize Nutrition’s Elite Whey Protein Isolate. It claims to have only 2.5 grams of carbohydrates and 1 gram of sugar however, I tend to use it at a sweetener because it is so sweet. I don’t know for sure how they are hiding the fact that it has way more sugar than it claims. The only thing I can figure is that when the ingredients say “concentrate..natural and artificial flavors” they mean concentrated in natural and artificial sugars. I have tried several whey proteins and they are all the same: overly sweet, so how do I find a whey protein (targeted for women) that have no hidden sugars?

  1. Isopure Zero-Carb has no carbs or sugar at all, and it tastes great! Check it out.

  2. They could be sweetening it with artificial sweetener or sugar alcohols which don’t count as carbs. I don’t think they would make too many that don’t have some kind of sweetener, because otherwise, it would be terribly bland and people wouldn’t like it as much.
